President – Kim Thueson

Kim was born and grew up in Wyoming where she was an all state swimmer, diver, and all state vocalist.  As a talented singer, she went to college on a music scholarship before meeting her husband and taking on the responsibility of raising three kids while putting him through law school.  She now enjoys watching all three continue the family tradition of music, who play various instruments.  She has sung with the Southern Nevada Musical Arts Society, and has performed with Andrea Bocelli twice at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.  You will regularly find Kim at practice watching, and at virtually every meeting and event to support the Band.  She has taken on the role of President for the Boosters to help the Band and Color Guard ensure they can continue participating in events such as the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Dayton, Ohio, for WGI World Championships, and hopes to one day see the Band perform at the BOA Grand Nationals in Indianapolis, IN.  If she is not fundraising for the Band, you will find her supporting her kids at Drum Corps International doing what they love.
